Even though I have a painting deadline
I have to say I am guilty of daydreaming a little more than I should ...
))) maybe because today is my birthday ? (((
I'm thinking what a dream to spend a sun soaked day somewhere
along the Amalfi coast.
Waking up late to the sound of the ocean
and the smell of expresso swirling in the sea breeze.
Grab some freshly baked, sun ripened and perfectly aged whatevers
from the open market
and bike down to the ocean ?
( while were at it, hearing a "ciao bella" or two along the way ? )
Wont you join me on this special day ?
I have never been there, but in my mind I truly am.
God, why did you give me such a vivid imagination !?
But then I wake up from this dream and realize that I am
painting and designing for a living.
That in and of itself is a dream come true from many past birthdays
This morning, I was awakened to the sweet aroma of my daughter baking me
sugar cookies at 5 am !
Amalfi coast expresso has nothing on that !
Once again gratitude reels me back in to reality
back to that deadline ( think I'll do something in aquas & blues now )

It makes me wonder ...
What will my birthday wish be as I'm pedaling along the Italian coastline ?
I'll have to wait and see !
