An Aqualicious Day

I woke up this morning
only to find myself

dreaming
in aqua

TODAY IS ...

a day when my old absinthe fountain
becomes
a
mouthwash fountain

( just applied a french label then mixed both clear and turquoise mouthwash to get the perfect shade )

a day for beautiful handmade vintage number books from
Fanciful Designs

a day when stilettos and inflatable pool toys
just
work

a day for an antique french monogrammed plate from
French Blue and Co

A day that I buzz about town on this ...

A day of velvet ribbon in every watery shade imaginable at Britex in SF

photos by lisa golightly

A day for a deliciously drippy opaline chandelier from
Paris Hotel Boutique

Today is a day for so many more dreamy things
like this bit of news

I may not ever want to go to sleep

Eloquence furniture also coming soon to the
The Paris Apartment

Okay, Judith and I are both on the hunt for an absinth fountain. OMG, you are so creative!!! Where did you find that Lisa?

And, thank you for the mention too!

Lisa, I couldn't help myself. Just posted about your creation! I want to buy one, but no room in our little bathrooms...(:

Judith and Lynn, if you can't find the real thing there are plenty of reproductions out there ( I think Posh Chicago ? ). Also, Absinthe was re-introduced to restaurants and bars about 5 years ago ( sans the wormwood ). If you know someone in the restaurant industry, many bars were given these from the absinthe companies for free ( and many do not use them ).

The cool, cool waters....what lovely images and calm that has washed over me. Thank you Lisa!

Saw that The Paris Apartment and The Paris Hotel have you featured in their blogs today, too! Looks like the House of Golightly is in fine fettle.

Congrats on the partnership with The Paris Apartment. Will you be selling any customized items on her site?
