While my list of potential dates is endless (my husband, however, might not agree...) I think that I would choose Nicholas Kristof as I think having an entire evening talking with him would be so incredibly inspiring!!!
Joyeux nouvelle annee!

I would have to go with Cary Grant, call me old fashioned! Happy New Year Lisa!

I would have to bring Audrey Hepburn of course!! Just to sit in her beauty, discuss her movies and her charity work! I'm sure it would be a fascinating conversation

Definitely Gene Kelly. I'll wear flats, just for him.

first-off, digging the music every time i visit your ultra-hip website.

now, to win my $25.00 GC. my date to take to your ball/celebration would have to be Ruth Hussey, circa 1939 (nominated for best supporting actress, The Philadelphia Story), because everyone (Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant) wanted to date Kate Hepburn. Plus, her name sort of seals the deal, no?

Happy New Year! and looking forward to GREAT things for you and me and all of our friends and family in 2010!!
