And Everywhere That Audrey Went ...

( song pairing: Something for Cat )

Photobucket
her deer was sure to go !

Just in love with this sweet set of photos of Audrey Hepburn  paling around
with this little fawn "Pippin" ( "Ip" for short )

When Hepburn was making her 1959 flick “Green Mansions,” directed by then-husband Mel Ferrer, the animal trainer on the set suggested that she take her
on-screen sidekick home so that he would learn to follow her.

And follow he did

What a "deer" little post!
I had never seen these pics before, or ever even heard about the pairing, so it certainly was an unexpected and enjoyable way to start off my week!

Boy, they sure broke the mold after Audrey, didn't they?! What an absolute beauty! And who knew that she even used to hang out with baby deer?! I don't think you can get any cooler than THAT!

Bonjour,

Love Anthony's 'deer' little post comment. Great Audrey photos, but then again she never took a bad photo, so sweet.
A bientôt

Hi Lisa,
I love this post on Audrey. Such rare photos. Really lovely.
I'm so sorry we didn't connect today. Is it possible for you to come up for the day one weekday to hang out. I can take you to the WES any day before the big sale next month.
Call me if you're up for it tonight and I'll give you more details.
xoxo

Love these photos. I've never seen them anyplace. Been years since I've seen Green Mansions. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Netflix has it.
Such beauty in one woman!
