Moon River Dress Giveaway

I'm not a betting girl, but this time I will make an exception.  I bet many of the things that make my heart flip are the same things that makes yours.
Am I right ?
At some time or another a common thread brought us together today
and here we are meeting in blogland
  {  but that would be 2nd, of course, to a real life tete a tete   }
*wink*

So what is our common thread ?

We are drawn to glamorous things from a bygone time.
The return of manners, civility, ladylike ladies and gentlemanly men.
You know, hats, gloves and all that jazz ?

All of this brings me to the lovely Emily and CK of
who have generously offered this "frock" for today's giveaway !

These women have taken a common thread between them
and have woven a sweet line of women's and little girl's dresses, bags, shoes and jewelry
Who's vintage style has been celebrated in
Glamour, O magazine and the Today Show to name a few.

So what is le prize you ask ?
It's called "Moonriver" part of the "All That Jazz" collection ...

"Bring back nostalgia for the beautiful jazz age in Moon River, a sultry silver frock with stunning details. Carefully constructed from stretch sateen, the Moon River boasts a high, wide boat neck, fitted bodice, and cap sleeves. The slightly tapered skirt descends from a bouquet off our flouncy ruffles at the low waist, and falls to the knee. Belted, bedecked with a long strand of pearls or left as a stand-alone statement, Moon River has potential to inspire romantic flashbacks wherever you wear it."

We will draw the winner out of the magic tophat
on
Sunday May 29th at 9pm pacific standard time
and announce the winner on
Monday the 30th

I've visited Shabby Apple before and love the vintage-inspired dresses. That moonriver dress would be so excellent for any woman to have in her wardrobe.

Hands down, I would love to see the return of chic vintage-inspired hats. They just complete an outfit and force women to really work on their hairstyles.

I am so happy to see that vintage inspired swimwear is making a return this summer.  I find vintage swimwear to be so flattering.

I love Shabby Apple and would love to win this. I'd like to see dance movies come back and muppet movies...oh...there is a new muppet movie coming out that looks to be so good. Love that version of Moon River playing on your sidebar. I usually hate music playing on blogs but you always have such good songs that I don't mind it.
